I have finished my first tour and it was awesome! I found out I really love this job, and am not bad at it either. ;) It is now time to show you all about the perks of being a guide in Canada. I'll post a lot of pictures, I don't think it needs much explaining.
Canada is such an amazing country with so many beautiful corners. And it never gets boring, even the ones I've already seen, they still look different every time again.
The tour schedule of this tour was great: Banff, Jasper, a ranch somewhere near Kleene Kleena, a Wilderness Lodge in the north of Tweedsmuir Park where we flew to with a bush plane, Bella Coola, the Ferry to Port Hardy on Vancouver Island, Tofino, Victoria and ending in Vancouver. It was great, most of the credit certainly goes to my guests who made this tour a lot of fun. They were a great group, dynamics were right and everybody got along very well.

At Lake Louise the clouds started disappearing giving us an amazing view! |

Plain of the six glaciers hike |

One of the guests loved to grill the steaks on the camp fire. "Hands off Tessa, I'll do this!" |
|
Banana and chocolate served on a piece of wood, always a hit! |
|
Without wind: Bow Lake is just stunning |
|
Bow Lake and the Crow Foot Glacier in the back |

Peyto Lake (For those who are paying attention, do you see the difference in colour compared to the picture I posted 11th of June?) |

Always make sure to have a good lunch spot! |

Mount Robson without any clouds, that is very rare! |

Black bear! |
Leaving the Rocky Mountains behind, we were driving west towards the Coast Mountains. We stayed at a Wilderness Lodge for three days and at a ranch with horses for three days, flying from the ranch to the lodge with a float plane.
So I had a few days without driving or cooking, which was relaxing for me too!

Waiting for the bush plane to pick us up, not a bad place to wait. |

Thank you for reading again, I'm off on my next tour. Hope you are all well!
